Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated 19 September 2026. This policy covers the paid plans on xoomar.com.
In short
- Cancel any time from the Plan tab; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then nothing more is charged.
- Yearly plans are refunded in full within 14 days of the first payment if usage stayed within the free limits; monthly plans are not refunded for partial months.
- Billing errors are refunded in full. Consumer rights that the law of your country gives you apply on top of this policy.
- Ask by email with the invoice number; refunds go back to the original payment method within ten business days.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the paid plans on xoomar.com (Pro, Ultra and Enterprise). The free plans cost nothing, so nothing here applies to them. It is part of the Terms of Service; where the two differ, the Terms prevail.
2. Cancelling a plan
- Cancel at any time from the Plan tab of your account, or through the billing page linked there. No email is needed and no one will try to talk you out of it.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, monthly or yearly. On that day your keys return to the free limits and nothing further is charged.
- Cancelling stops the renewal; it does not shorten the current period, and the unused part of the period is not refunded, except as section 3 says.
- You can resume a cancelled plan before the period ends from the same tab; it then renews as before.
3. When we refund
- Yearly plans, first 14 days. A yearly plan is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of its first payment and your usage in that time stayed within the free limits. Beyond that, a yearly plan is not refunded for the remaining months; cancel instead and it runs to the end of the year.
- Monthly plans. Not refunded for partial months. Cancel and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
- Billing errors. A duplicate charge, a charge after a cancellation, or a wrong amount is refunded in full as soon as we see it or you tell us.
- Our fault. If we end a plan, retire a feature you paid for, or the Service is unavailable for a length of time that the Ultra or Enterprise uptime commitment covers, we refund the unused part of the period or apply the service credit the Terms describe, whichever the Terms provide.
- Enterprise. Refunds follow the signed agreement.
- Your legal rights. If the consumer law of your country gives you a right to cancel or a refund that cannot be excluded, that right applies in addition to this policy. If you live in the EEA or the UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a new subscription; because the plan starts at once, we may deduct the value of the days you used.
4. Changing plans
- Moving up (Pro to Ultra, or monthly to yearly) takes effect immediately; the unused part of the old period is credited against the new one.
- Moving down takes effect at the next renewal; the difference for the current period is not refunded.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails we retry it and email you. The plan stays active for seven days. If the payment has not succeeded by then, your keys return to the free limits until it does; nothing is owed for the days on the free limits.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email info@xoomar.com from the address on your account with the invoice number and one line on why. We answer within two business days and, when a refund is due, send it within ten business days to the payment method you used. Your card provider may take a few more days to show it.
If something about a charge looks wrong, write to us before opening a dispute with your bank; a billing error is fixed faster that way, and a dispute freezes the account while it runs.
