Frequently Asked Questions
How are flows computed?
Change in coins held between consecutive issuer files, multiplied by our own exchange reference price at collection time. Holdings and computed flow are both stored, so you can redo the math.
Why do some funds show no data?
We only read issuers' own public holdings files, and some issuers gate those behind bot protection that blocks datacenter requests. Funds appear as their files become reachable; we don't fill gaps from third-party flow sites.
How is this different from Farside or SoSoValue?
Those aggregate the same issuer disclosures with manual fixes. We automate from primary files only and publish exactly what we can verify, with the raw holdings number next to every computed flow.
When does data update?
Weekdays after US market close, once issuers post their end-of-day files.
