Updated on July 23, 2026

On Wednesday (July 22), Passionfroot raised $15 million to turn creator-led B2B marketing into a more repeatable software workflow, not a string of one-off sponsorship deals. The Passionfroot Series A, led by Insight Partners, will fund product development, a New York office, and hiring across New York, Berlin and Sao Paulo, according to PYMNTS.

Passionfroot Series A lands July 22 with Insight Partners leading

Passionfroot connects B2B tech companies with vetted creators for go-to-market campaigns. Its platform helps companies find creators, book campaigns, pay partners, and assess campaign performance from one place.

The company framed the raise around a blunt thesis: AI is making software easier to build, so distribution becomes harder to defend.

“As AI makes software easy to build, distribution becomes the real moat,” Passionfroot said in its July 22 post on X. “Buyers no longer discover products through ads or SEO; they find them through the independent voices they already trust—the creators, operators and builders they follow.”

That line is the core of the pitch. Passionfroot is selling infrastructure for a world where B2B software companies need trusted third-party voices to explain products, not just paid placements or keyword traffic.

Jennifer Phan, co-founder and CEO, said on LinkedIn that Passionfroot has grown revenue 13x year over year, reached profitability, and serves customers including Figma, Replit, Airtable, Luma, ElevenLabs and Gamma.

TechCrunch reported that the Berlin-based startup has 15 employees, has raised more than $21 million total, and has paid at least $10 million to creators on its platform in the last 18 months. Existing investors Creandum, Supernode Global and s16vc also participated, according to that report.

B2B tech brands are turning to vetted creators as Passionfroot says ads and SEO lose ground

Passionfroot’s raise comes from a specific pressure point in B2B tech marketing: the company says buyers are discovering products through trusted independent voices, including creators, operators and builders, rather than through ads or SEO.

Phan told TechCrunch that heads of marketing and growth leaders are describing a crowded market where AI is “commoditizing software” and flooding categories with new products, features and launches. She said B2B buyers are going to places like LinkedIn, a creator’s Substack, or a YouTube podcast to find new products and tools.

That gives Passionfroot a clear wedge. It doesn’t need to convince B2B companies that creators exist. It needs to make the process of working with them less messy.

Campaign problem Passionfroot’s proposed role
Finding relevant creators Discovery through its platform and AI tools
Coordinating sponsorships Booking, contracts and campaign workflow
Paying global creators Wallet and payment infrastructure
Measuring results Campaign performance tools and planned insight features

XOOMAR analysis: The “vetted creator” angle matters because B2B campaigns depend on audience fit and subject expertise more than raw reach. A creator with a smaller but deeply relevant professional audience may be more useful to a B2B software company than a larger generalist channel, but only if the brand can identify, contract and measure that relationship without turning each campaign into manual project work.

The company’s customer list also signals where the platform is starting: AI, design, developer and productivity companies with audiences that already follow builders, operators and technical educators online.

Passionfroot’s agent model targets the messy middle of creator campaign operations

Passionfroot has released an AI agent called Zest, which helps brands create, execute and monitor campaigns, according to TechCrunch. The company says Zest can help brands find suitable creators both inside and outside the platform.

The startup also says it uses a proprietary creator graph built from reach and performance data from thousands of campaigns. That data layer is meant to make matching and campaign planning smarter over time.

Lorenzo De Nobili, co-founder and CTO, said on LinkedIn that Passionfroot plans to turn its AI agent into an autonomous campaign manager, develop tools that deliver campaign-improvement insights, and rebuild its payment infrastructure so the autonomous campaign agent can use it.

The AI-agent framing puts Passionfroot near a wider software shift XOOMAR readers are tracking in Jack Dorsey Buzz Hits Slack With Open AI Agent Chat and 630 Jobs Vanish as Monday.com Layoffs Fund Risky AI Bet. Passionfroot’s version is narrower: not general workplace automation, but the operational layer around creator campaigns.

XOOMAR analysis: That is the company’s real test. Creator access is useful, but campaign execution is where budgets get won or lost. Passionfroot has to show that AI can reduce the operational drag of creator marketing without weakening brand control, creator fit or payment reliability.

Next test for Passionfroot: prove creator campaigns can drive B2B pipeline

The next milestones are concrete: product expansion, New York execution, Sao Paulo growth, hiring across three cities, and the rollout of deeper AI and payment infrastructure.

The company is also working on tools to help clients measure how campaigns affect AI citations and how brands appear in AI-powered answers, according to TechCrunch. That could become a more important measurement layer if B2B discovery keeps moving into AI-generated responses.

The open questions are still material. Passionfroot did not disclose a valuation in the supplied materials. It also has to prove that creator-led campaigns can move beyond one-off sponsorships into repeatable go-to-market programs tied to product launches and demand generation.

If Passionfroot can turn discovery, contracts, global payments and measurement into a reliable workflow, more B2B tech companies may treat vetted creators as a recurring distribution channel. If not, the platform risks being another useful marketplace in a category where execution, not supply, decides who gets budget.

The Bottom Line

  • Passionfroot’s $15 million raise signals growing investor interest in creator-led B2B marketing.
  • The platform aims to make creator partnerships more scalable by combining discovery, booking, payments and performance tracking.
  • Its reported 13x year-over-year revenue growth suggests B2B companies are shifting budget toward trusted independent voices.
