What this data is
Composite readings
Each asset gets one reading between minus one and plus one, with the parts that make it up shown beside it. It summarizes the data on this site and forecasts nothing: the same data always gives the same reading.
A reader can look at the parts and disagree; a program can read the JSON and apply its own rule. Neither is being told what to do.
Every row carries its parts: a news reading from the headlines, a crowd reading from perpetual futures funding and, where there's a futures market, an institutional reading from the CFTC report. A total that changed because funding spiked is different from one that changed because headlines turned.
The readings cover the same assets as the sentiment page. Only assets with futures in the CFTC report have an institutional part, and only crypto has a funding part.
