Understanding
How Signals Work
Each signal blends three layers with fixed weights: news sentiment (50%), crowd positioning from funding rates (25%), and institutional flows from COT data (25%). When a layer is unavailable for an asset (e.g., no COT for altcoins), the remaining layers are renormalized. The composite score ranges from -1 (strongly bearish) to +1 (strongly bullish). Values near zero are neutral. This is NOT a buy/sell signal; it is a filter. Use it alongside your own strategy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these signals buy/sell recommendations?
No. They are a quantitative blend of public data intended as one input among many. Not financial advice.
How often do signals update?
The underlying sentiment recomputes hourly. The signals API caches for 60 seconds. Dashboard ISR is 5 minutes.
Can I use signals in my MT4/MT5 EA?
Yes. We provide a free MQL include file (XoomarSignals.mqh) and the API is designed for bot consumption. See the API docs for setup.
What does the crowd layer measure?
It computes the percentile rank of the current funding rate vs the trailing 30 days. High percentile means retail is more bullish than usual.
Why are some layers null?
Not all assets have all data. Altcoins without CME futures have no COT layer. Non-crypto assets have no funding rate crowd layer.
